Exhibition/Workshop

On 16th and 17th April we held our second Hyde Workshop. Unfortunately, due to space being limited, we were unable to cater for more than a couple of participants at any one time. However, we were still able to hold a few demonstrations which proved quite interesting to a number of people. Some of our members demonstrated different techniques including 'wet-in-wet', pastel work, and mixed media - using salt, masking fluid, oil pastel, wax and watercolour.

Again, we generated lots of interest in our art group and have more new members. We now find that our current membership has reached its full capacity at 28 members.

We held a raffle during the exhibition, raising over £50 for club funds which will pay for the materials for future workshops. The two raffle prizes were pictures donated by two of our members.
